How many casinos that you have visited actually enforce the age restrictions? How many actually card you at the door, or have they tended to just look you over and let you past?

I have never seen a casino carding at the door, I think that mainly they will just look for people who don't appear to be 18 or older, and then card them.

I've never seen a casino card anyone! When I was younger, no one really checked those things unless it was obvious. Now I suppose they are stricter, but it is easier to get a fake id these days.

It does happen, sometimes they check people. I was checked once, and was to say the least annoyed about it since I was approaching thirty at the time I have to wonder if the guy was just pulling my leg.

Well I know the adage for alcohol is card if you look under 40, so gambling in cities where plastic surgery is more common than brushing your teeth isn't unusual. I've never minded getting carded myself. If they enforce age restrictions they most likely enforce other useful rules as well.

Although I've been carded several times when buying liquor, I've never been lucky enough to get carded in a casino.  I bet these guys at the door have seen enough to be experts at it.

At my age, no one bothers to ask for an I.D. card.
