Eventually I think that Soccer will surpass Football. The game of soccer is growing my leaps and bounds throughout the schools in the US. More kids are able to play, both males and females. Lookout Football you are going down

I don't think so. Despite the fact that many Americans play the game starting from childhood, it never seems to be as popular a sport as football, baseball or basketball.

I very much doubt it. NFL has too much history in the US. Just look at the superbowl - no soccer match is going to beat that.

Soccer will become more and more popular and the USA wont be left behind - but surpassing the football juggernaut is an entirely different matter.

I hope so because I love soccer, but I'm not an american- football fan. It's so hard not to get into soccer, even living in the US. And I'd rather have my boys playing that than football, which is just dumb and dangerous.

I doubt it but these days not much kids are into it due to the violence in football. My son is afraid to play football because of how much of a contact sport it is

While I love soccer much more than I do football, I don't think its popularity will ever surpass that of football.  There's something very American about a 6'6", 300 pounder in armour on a playing field.
