Have you noticed that the height of the tables are not made for short people to play. To lean over and place your chips if your arms are short is almost impossible at some casino's. We shorties have money too you know.

I understand how you feel, but it would be unfair to put the tables lower because of the really taller players. Guess the only fair way is the way they have them.

I agree that lowering the tables could cause back problems for the majority of normal height people. The only access modification I could think of would be the provision of steps to help reach the table, or taller chairs for seated games. But I realise too that could be embarrassing.

I think this kind of thing is a problem everywhere you go and not just in casinos. For instance, all the counters at the lobbies are high rather than low.

I'm vertically challenged too and it is indeed a problem - but so it is for me in most places.  I'm used to it and I agree that these places have to strike the best medium to suit the most.

That's a good point. The whole world is built for average height people and so I guess you just get used to things being over sized for you.

It would be awesome if there was a one size fits all type of table, lol. A couple of my friends are under the 5 foot mark and they have a hard time on the casino tables.

I couldn't agree more. I'm barely pushing 5 feet, and it's not easy to get along at a casino comfortably! But that is the way of life when your a shrimp.
