Chatting online with others while playing is fine, but sometimes there are those annoying players who keep asking personal questions and whatnot. Have you ever encountered any of those people? I think if you play long enough you're bound to meet someone like that.

Yeah, there are obviously a lot of people out there which tend to do that. But I tend to just stop talking to such people after a while, if they get on my nerves.

Depending on the game that you play, interaction can be a big part of it. If you were at a real table then you would be chatting, and in person the questions serve to help to get to know the person better and so read their tells and so on.

The chatting when playing is just an extension of that.

A good chatterbox can unnerve you to the point where you can lose your cool.  It may be intentional or not.  I purposefully go monosyllabic for them to get the hint.

I am sure that for many is it intentional-if there is a way to put off the other players and so walk away with their money then for you at least, that is a profitable thing to do. People are going to want that.

Personally it doesn't bother me. I don't bug other people but I don't ignore them either.

I have just starting playing online casino. I did not know yet that you can chat while playing. But that is possible with forex trading. There is one broker that has an online cha troom. I hate those people who keep on chatting and not taking their trades seriously.

The chatting normally is in the same place as you are playing, not in a separate room. That is why it can be hard, it's hard to tune it out sometimes.

After too much time online the only thing I will reply to is a conversation with the while. When people get that personal I remind them that they can ask anything they want, if I don't reply they know they are asking something they will never find out. If you cant have stimulating conversation without trash talking thats also a biggie of mine, then you don't need to talk to me.
