I'd make sure to pak close to the doors and bring a friend. Don't they give out checks to the big winners? I've never won anything big yet.

The problem is that I couldn't tell my fellow gambler from someone who walked in off the street to try and rob or mug people. Or pickpockets, whatever. I just don't have that level of trust.

Good question.  I never really thought much of this before as I'm usually along with friends and staying at a nearby hotel at least.  I imagine that one should just take the usual precautions and avoid secluded areas.

If I won big I would prob just spend the night in the casino hotel ...or just go with friends. Its hard to tell a gambler from a thief (they dont wear signs do they?) so if all else fails then act like a nutcase...guaranteed to scare anyone away

I'm usually with my husband, so this hasn't been a problem. A good rule of thumb is to always have a buddy. That is what I tell my daughters (who are grown).

I'm cautious.  I'm always paying attention to what's around me.  Even in a place with such high security I'm not leaving my safety into someone else's hands.

The security in those places must be intense though...I don't hear on the news any problems.

That's so true - you'd think there'd be shootings quite often or any other kinds of violence but there seems to be none.

They really must have things in order, or else casino crime would be all over the news, every day. Instead I had never heard of anything, and that's even with reading worldwide and local news daily. I am not too worried. Common sense will help with many things.
