I know many people have mentioned that they play poker, not for the money, but just for fun. What are some of the things you wager instead of money? Breakfast in bed, monopoly money, weekend for two?

Who is going to do the chores, wash and buff my car, just about anything you can imagine you can bet with.

There are so many things that you can bet with, it's amazing. My favorite things are household chores, like doing the dishes and vacuuming. When I was a kid I really liked to use Monopoly money.

I've done poker nights where we do candy bets - everyone brings bags of candy, and those are the "chips" for the night. Chores and personal favors are always good too.

Candy bets are so fun. I've done that a couple times, not wanting to owe friends money or anything. I still love the satisfaction of betting on chores and odd jobs though, and not having to do them myself.

The list is endless of what you can bet for. House chores are good, which include washing dishes, cleaning the dog house, cooking, and wiping the floor. Just about anything you don't really want to do, and have an opportunity to pass it on.

I have played for pretzels and other junk food. And also many people have already posted it but household chores or errands.

I remember the old days when we play poker for push ups. We often do this every Friday night when everyone is very tired. If you can't complete the push up, the other consequence would be to serve the winner with whatever he wants, something like bring a glass of juice or a piece of cake.
