I remember trying to take a picture of one of the games I was playing to show my family. I took a few before with no problems. But then I decided to take some more, and was told it was not allowed and was asked to delete them.
Once they see you, it's a no no.

| I would think either way it's a no no because you never really know what the person could be doing with it, even though it looks like they're just taking a picture of you. They could always be taking a picture / video of you to learn how to take advantage of your moves too.

Tables placements seems pretty normal to me, some places arrange things a certain way to horde players into a selective area (to spend more there).

I have never been questioned about my cell phone but I think that this will become more of a problem as cell phone technology increases. The speeds of net connections is getting better, to the point that you pretty much could take a photo and have it sent long before security can get you out of there.
So I wouldn't be surprised to see bans on phones, or phone checks at some point in the future.
