I couldn't believe there was so much stuff kids could do, too...

Adventure Canyon  (Buffalo Bill)

Adventuredome

The Aquarium at Silverton

Thrill Rides

Chocolate Factory Tour

And someday I'd love to look at this:

GameWorks
Step into the new video playground created by Steven Spielberg and a host of his colleagues and prepare to be transported into a world inspired by the mystique of Area 51, the high-tech wizardry of the Information Superhighway and the glamour of the Las Vegas Strip

I think this all requires a whole bunch of visits.

Chocolate Factory Tour? My kids would love that. Where are you getting this information from? I would like to look more into this for my next trip.

There's really a ton to do in Vegas, not in the least the Star Trek Experience. Apparently its such a big deal that even none fans visit, for the restaurants, and all the things to see and do there. And of course people marry there too.

Wow, I never knew that there were places for kids to go as well. We usually leave the kids with my mother in law but next time I think I'll take them

Initially I also thought Vegas was just out of bounds for kids. I guess that's the impression that is pushed in th media, but they really have some nice activities for children. You just need to do your research--it's not all kid friendly, but you will find places.

There really is a lot for kids in Vegas. Some shows are appropriate for kids, like the one at excalibur. There are arcades in a lot of the casinos that you can let your kids play at while you gamble if they are old enough to stay alone. There are also lots of shopping areas and restaurants that are kid-friendly. They even have the tiger and lion exhibit outside one hotel, plus they have a lot of other animals on display.

I've never understood why people thought it was so off limits for kids there.. obviously they can't gamble, but there is a lot of other stuff to do. Even 20 years ago, when my kids were young, we'd take them along with us and see shows and attractions. Of course my kids just loved staying in hotels and swimming in the pools, so that was always entertaining to them.
