Here's another debatable issue. What do you think about players taking drugs? Is there a difference between a fit player taking drugs and a disadvantaged player taking drugs?

Athletes who are under the influence of drugs are not in good health condition therefore they cannot last in a game longer. They can easily be determine becuse their stamina are quite unusual. They can be active but only on a certain period of time. Players who takes drug for stamina should be penalized.

Performance enhancing drugs are banned not only because they give unfair advantage but because in many cases there are long term health consequences. Listen to what Lyle Alzado said about it on tape before he died. If his words don't convince you maybe his wreck of a body just might.

I've never really understood athletes taking drugs. As an athelete myself I know that just eating junk food can make me feel awful and I can't imagine how you must feel after taking performance enhancing drugs or drinking or smoking. It doesn't make sense to ruin a machine worth millions for a little temporary added ability.

I think strength is obviously a big advantage gained by using steroids.  These people feel superhuman when they are on them.  Not only does it give them an unfair training advantage, but the confidence they get from it is also a benefit.  With all the new technology and better steroids being available all the time I don't think they feel the health risk is that great.  I don't encourage using drugs at all.  I think sports would never be the same if they weren't banned.  But if all these sports are really serious about their performance enhancing bans they need to work as hard as the athletes do to stay ahead of the curve in their testing methods.

I think they are ban for a good reason. Who wants to see someone all hopped up on crap? It seems the love of the game goes down the toliet then.

To quote my grade school years, "drugs are bad" Any illegal drugs are wrong. They either give an unfair advantage or do serious harm to the player. Either way, they are totally wrong. The ban is in place for a reason.
