Is anybody here involved in golf at all? Do you bet on golf, if there is such a thing, or do you just like to play?

I play golf video games, but as for actually playing it, there's nobody really that would take the time and patience to really teach me.

I've tried, but my mom kept getting frustrated because "I wouldn't listen" and stuff.

So it's pretty much just stick to the video games.

I am playing video golf but the new Tiger is very hard.  My roommate kicks my but every time I try to get ahead.  I love watching it on TV, Tiger has had a great 2 days at the World Golf Match play and is in the final round today.  I don't think there is a place to bet on golf but if you check with a casino I bet there is a way to bet on golf.

I've played lots of video golf. Outlaw golf is the best golf game out there if you can find it for your system. I don't usually play regular golf as I don't have the patience for it. I've been known to bet on a round of putt-putt mini golf though.

I learned how to play golf from Tiger Woods 99. The shot selections were always tough for me. But for learning how to swing a club, I took some lessons. I like playing outside as opposed to playing a golf simulation. I don't bet on golf. There you have it.

While I have a great deal of patience, I dont have it for this game, sport whatever you want to call it. I dont like the idea of playing 18 holes either, so if I do which is rare I only do half.

9 holes in 2 hours is an appropriate time. If you play the entire 18 hole round and the course is backed up, it could take 4 hours. then you have to factor in the time it takes to warm up and drive to the golf course. Which is why a lot of golf is played on weekends.

I get to test out my not so great golf game when a family member comes to visit in about a month or two. I hope I can get some pointers here from anyone thats pretty good.

Don't worry i already know its not nice to throw the club when I have a bad swing!
