I couldn't tell you why it is illegal, other than the fact that the US is founded on Christianity (like that or not) and as a result some rather puritan laws remain. It might be that because it would expose those in states that are banned to gambling, they ban it in total.

It's silly I know, but they get around it by just visiting casinos that are hosted outside of the country.

Payout is normally through a second service-such as paypal. That way it doesn't matter that it's payment from an online casino, and then paypal can deposit it into your bank.


Let's hope our next president, and our congressional representatives, set out to repeal laws that are obviously based on religious taboos.
