Fake Coins/Tokens

Not in the UK they haven't-at least in pubs and clubs where I am most likely to play them they still take real coins. So there really is still an issue.

I don't think that I've ever even seen a fake coin or token in the years I've played slots and video poker.

I agree that it's become less of an issue with so many machines accepting bills and paying out with pieces of paper.

If I got the fake coins in payout, I would just put them back into the machine and play them so I wouldn't be stuck with them.

You know there are schemers out there thinking of everything. I am sure someone has figured this out too.

I think the newer machines have better detection methods than some of the older ones. However I don't think I have ever run across that rpoblem myself.

I have never found a fake coin or slug in any of my winnings. Will a cashier replace the bogus coind for you or are you just out of luck when that happens?
