Haven't been to Atlantic City in about 14 years and was wondering if it's changed as much as Vegas.

Atlantic City sure isn't looking half as good as it used to. There have been quite a few problems lately, and the near future doesn't look to be fixing that any. Now that there are casinos in almost every state, business has decreased quite a bit as well. Some people always called Atlantic City the "poor mans Vegas" but sadly, that tag fits more than ever these days.

I always associate Atlantic City with the older generation. It's too bad to hear it's falling into disrepair. Are there any good casino areas for East Coasters?

That is quite sad to hear, I was always told that I need to get there one day. It seems I waited too long, esp. if they dont plan to fix any of it.

Do not get me wrong, there are still a lot of great casinos to be seen in Atlantic City. They are still the best place for East Coast gambling, but they don't have near the monopoly they once did. You will have fun for sure there, but don't go expecting Vegas. Go there expecting a good time with gaming, and maybe take in a nice show or a meal while you are at it.
