Its warm weather now so we are waiting our first get together for the family football (american football) challege. We do these at least once a month with a large BBQ. Anyone else do this sort of thing? And yes, the adults bet on the games too. Wink

We have a similar tradition but without any over strenuous exercise. We have the get together and bring out the horse shoes. A six pack of cold beer per game on a hot sunny day is just about right.

The wives think we are crazy and by the end of the day who can hit the pin but who cares we have a good time.

We do it twice a year, not once a month. You guys are lucky.. I bet you guys live next to each other..

My families are spread all over the US.

It's a blast getting family together - eating , drinking , and playing football! Having a great time..
