When I first visited Vegas I had no clue that the casino were open 24/7, but the real shock was that there was no "last call for alcohol"!

Luckily, I am not a big drinker. You could really hurt yourself!

So what was your "epiphany"?

My epiphany was when I saw the same people at all times of the day, and night, gambling. I couldn't get off the fact that some of these people didn't seem to sleep. I could go elsewhere and come back 6 or 8 hours later and they'd still be there.

Mine was an alcohol thing too. I was shocked by the open container law. If you aren't done with your drink, you can just walk down the sidewalk drinking it! No paper baggie needed.

I guess for me it was the seeming non-stop action, especially inside the casino halls.  Everywhere was this buzz of activity and seeming electriciy in the air.

Do you think they did that because they didn't know what time it was and had no "sun clues" to trigger fatigue, or do you think they were addicts who couldn't pull themselves away?

Now I didn't know that. This is the first time I heard this.

I guess it never occurred to me to take a drink with me. I always assumed that you had to finish it before leaving the casino!

I didn't know that you can walk around with an open bottle.  Cool!

My first time in Vegas I stayed up all night~ I wouldn't recommend this to anyone especially if you have to attend meetings the next day.

It is really more of a party city. Nothing ever stops and most people never sleep. I too have never seen people just walking down the street with bottles of bud.
