Is anyone else here addicted to poker on television at all? I have been watching the stuff for ages, and I love it! Anytime I see any of those poker shows on television, I just have to sit down and watch no matter how busy I may be with other things at the time. Maybe someday, you will even see me on one of the shows!
Anyone else addicted to Poker on T.V?

| I tend to catch "poker after dark" or some show like that in the wee hours of the morning. I'm not all too interested in watching, but it makes nice background noise and could be considered educational to some degree when they discuss how the game is going.

| I'm not addicted to watching it on TV but I will admit that if I have some time on my hands I enjoy watching the televised matches. Have become a little more gambling savvy because of the times I have watched.

| I like to watch when I can and study the persons character when they play. Right now I am waiting for the satellite people to come and fix mine so right now I'm not watching anything.

I do enjoy watching poker on television. I wish they'd show more than Texas Hold'Em games though. I have seen a 7 Card Stud tourney once but that was an exception. I would love to watch some Omaha and see how the pros play it.

There are few things that are so unpardonably neglected in our country as poker. The upper class knows very little about it. Now and then you find ambassadors who have sort of a general knowledge of the game, but the ignorance of the people is fearful. Why, I have known clergymen, good men, kind-hearted, liberal, sincere, and all that, who did not know the meaning of a "flush." It is enough to make one ashamed of the species. ~Mark Twain
