| I was having a discussion with my husband and we were figuring ot what the most popular sports were in each country. We've concluded that in Canada it's hockey, in the US it's football, and in England it's soccer. Anyone know any other favorites in other countries?

| I am not sure if soccer is more more popular in England than cricket. Cricket is definitely the sport of choice in Australia, India, Pakistan and the Caribbean.

| Isn't lacrosse big in the UK? I would definitely agree that football is very popular in the US along with basketball.

| I think for the states it would be a three way tie almosts with baseball/basketball and football. Even though most people will watch the superbowl before anything else end of season stands. WIth the UK it could be football (soccor) or cricket but more leaning towards football.

| I would have to agree with the above posters mention of Baseball.. The only problem with our sports here in the U.S. recently has been the eruption of steroid scandals destroying the reps of almost every major sport in this country. If Clean players is a prerequisite for approval, Racing will probably come out front.
