Would you let your kids place a bet with a bookie on a football game?

Do you think there is a certain age where they should be able to make their own decision~ it's their money, so they can bet if wanted?

What are your thoughts on this?

As kids we used to have penny bets with the bookie that our father would place for us. But never anything serious, nothing that would really hurt to lose.

We let out kids bet on the superbowl. they all bet $50~ but they had jobs too. Lucky for them they won.

I think there is a difference between betting friendly on a game or sending your kid to a bookie. I really don't see myself doing that anytime soon with my kids and I would probably wonder about the person that would allow it.
