When you choose a table, what cash limit do you look for?

I have only played blackjack once and it was on a $5 table.  The next time I went to the casino, they didn't have any $5 opened for blackjack, so I passed.

What do you do?

I look for a cheaper table.
No, seriously, I hate it when you can't find a spot at a $5 table and there are multiple $25 tables empty. Sometimes I'll just watch a game for awhile and hope someone leaves soon!

Not really being that experienced, I always look for the $5 table.  I hate it when they only have $25 tables open.

One of these days I am going to just take a leap and go to a higher table.  I'll either have fun, or be out really quickly.

The problem with playing the higher tables is you have to have enough of a stake to get you through a losing streak. $100 is 20 bets at a $5 table, but only 4 bets at a $25 table.
What I really hate is when all the $5 tables are full with people betting $25+ and the $25 tables are empty!

I like to go for the cheapest limits as well. At times if I am feeling lucky I will play at one of more higher limit tables but that’s a rarity.

I go for the $5 tables as well. I've played overseas a few times and they had $1 tables and I loved it! I played for 4 hours and was only up $20 but where else can you get 4 hours of entertainment like that and come out making money?
