Anyone have hydroplane races where you live? I'm heading back to my hometown to see the big races (the Seafair Cup) in August, it was always one of my favorite things about the summer. My favorite boat is the Oh Boy Oberto.

| I haven't heard of any around me but that doesn't mean that they don't have them - I'll have to ask around. Sounds like it would be cool to watch, though.

| You should definitely check them out, they are very fun too watch. We have a great airshow here during the mid race break too, it's half the fun of watching the race.

| I've never heard of hydroplane events before. Is this just planes that take off from and land on water, or is it some other kind of event?

I have never heard of hydroplane events either. I am curious to find out more. The only racing we have in this area are the rodeo version and drag races.
