Anyone else play Canasta? A friend taught me how last weekend and it was a blast, we'll definitely be playing this more. We had to put on Buena Vista Social Club while playing, it just seemed the perfect music for the game.

Oddly I do not know this game too well. I guess its time to look up a new game and test out the waters to see if I am any good at it.

I haven't played Canasta in ages. I used to play at my grandparents but we really don't play many of the older games here at home. Might have to play with my parents this weekend.

Canasta? Never played it and don't know too much about it, other than it is similar to Rummy. Is it an easy game to learn?

My parents used to have friends over on the weekends and they played Canasta.  I never learned how to play.  The group I hung around with when I was younger was never into card games much.  It's just in the last year that I really started playing and this is the first I've heard Canasta brought up.  I'll have to see if anyone in my group knows how to play.

Never so much as heard of the game in fact! I play enough games already, I'm not sure that there is room in my life for yet another!

I have not heard or this game in ages. I did a YaHoo search and actually found that there are quite a few websites that offer Canasta as a game choice. There is even one that is totally devoted to Canasta. Check it out at http://www.canasta.net/
