Does anyone know if it's possible to get around the internet gambling restriction by opening a foreign bank account? It seems like the perfect way to get around the law (and your money is probably safer in EUs over USDs).

That's an interesting idea! I've never done this myself, but it would seem like it would work. I bet that is how a lot of people are getting around the restriction!

The problem here would be in opening the foreign bank account. Face it, there is so much required even opening one locally-correct ID, proof of address and so on. How would you do that with an overseas account?
