| The FIFA has ruled that soccer players must be allowed to go to the Olympics even though it interferes with some pretty significant matches. The coaches and team owners are not pleased. Do you think this should be allowed? The story is in the news section, by the way.

| I see nothing wrong with this ruling. Teams have always been required to release their players for matches on the international calendar. To say that the soccer tournament is not included on the calendar is a non-issue - this is the OLympics. I think the players should be released to reprsent their country.

| The ruling has been reversed. Now all these young people won't be able to attend or compete. I think that is just terribly wrong. How hard is it to change a game date?

| I think again, that they made their beds, now they have to lie in them. They chose to play for foreign teams-or even play for their own nation! They are being paid to play, and they make heap loads. Now they whine because they can't go to play for free in the Olympics?
