| The Chinese government is employing all kinds of 'innovative' things to combat their unenviable record of being the air pollution capital of the world. The gamble is, "is this too little, too late"?

| I hear the air has gotten better but it is a long way off from being good. I think with all of the negative press and issues of the Olympics this year it will be a long time before we see another held at China.

Hopefully it isn’t too little too late and that they can hold the Olympics sometime in the future. Maybe quite a few years from now but its good they are trying to reduce the bad air.

| They are going so far as shooting silver nitrate into the clouds in the hopes of forcing rain, hoping that the rain will help clear the air. It's ridiculous that the event ever got sent there.
