Tonight I received a most unusual request. I've been asked by my father to teach him how to gamble online.

My father.

The man who for ten years drilled it into me how wrong gambling was. I'm not sure I'll cope with the first lesson...

That ought to be an interesting lesson...lol. Have you asked him why the about-face on gambling? I'm curious as to why he's changed his mind after so many years of saying gambling was a bad thing.

Is he thinking he might get more money that way? Or is he just bored and looking for something to do? You might want to investigate the reason behind his request and talk to him before he gets into something he really doesn't want to get in to.

He's now past retirement and basically he is mellowing out a great deal. He's eased up about a bunch of things-I just never expect him to ease up about this.

We'll be playing this weekend, be nice to see how it goes.

Are you talking about gambling or poker? I definitely think there is a difference between the two as poker relies much more on skill than chance. Poker is quick to learn but takes a lifetime to master.

Online gambling or online casino is a part of a money making game. To teach online gambling online is a difficult thing. Online tutorials are ready made available to download and to learn online. Online tutorials are the greatest media to learn and teach;

I think your Dad is probably just looking for something to pass time.  It would probably be best to steer him to some free gaming sites until he knows what he is getting into.

I think many people would rather gamble online to avoid having to get all spiffed up to go blow some money. It makes sense also with the price of gas lately esp. if you live far away from a land based one.
