Alot of gaming establishments are closed after being caught, although it can take years for the guilty parties to pay up the fines of jail time and legal fees. Some people think it would be easier just to allow gambling in all states/countries instead of wasting time prosecuting the laws. What do you think?

I think it's much ado about nothing. I believe an adult should be able to decide whether or not to wager on a race or sporting event or play poker, etc. The government should mind their own business.

There's no doubt about this. The government would do far better taxing the crap out of the places and allowing them to continue instead of spending money fighting them. Be sensible.

Yep but the thing is some of these shady places are in really low down run areas of towns and there are not fancy casino work, its straight gamble only and most places I don't think I would want to be in. If the gov. wanted to make some money taxing them they could but they would do far better getting them some type of grant to get a real building in a good part of town too.
