| I've noticed that a lot more of our local schools are adding soccer to the school athletic program. Many of the elementary and middle schools have soccer programs. Has anyone else noticed an increase in the popularity of soccer in your area?

| Soccer, like any other game in a school system is fueled by interest and need. We didn't have a team at the small high school I went to due to lack of fields to play in (one small field for everyone to share) and even several of the larger schools didn't. Now at least half of those have added soccer, but had to have a full and then some team before it being okayed.

| We have a community league for the school-age kids but nothing in our school systems yet. We have several Hispanic families that have relocated in our community and they have brought their love for soccer with them.

| I too have seen a growth in this area. I hadn't thought much about it other than the fact that Beckham went over to the Galaxies. That seemed to be a big motivating factor for many.
