They always used to say, it is best to only win a game or 2 at a time before moving on for the day. When they see you hanging around for too long in the same day and consistently winning, they begin to suspect that something may be up. Take your earnings, and leave the casino for a few days to a week. Visit other casinos in the mean-time.

Any cheat in the end will be caught the casinos these days have specialised people to watch for card counters and most do get caught.

Well, a lot of places don't do single deck Black Jack anymore, so it becomes increasingly difficult to card count in a conventional way. Granted, it can still be done, but with a six deck shoe, you have to be pretty smart...

I've never seen how folks can do this especially with multiple decks. I have a hard enough time keeping track of what cards are left in a poker game. Trying to count cards in a 6 or 7 deck shoe, no way for me.
