Did anybody win money from the Superbowl today?

My best friend won $300 today, after putting in $50 to three different polls total. I thought that was pretty awesome, and doesn't happen very often.

That is awesome. I was planning to bet but missed out this time. I don't think I'd have got it on the right side, though.

A good friend of mine won $1200 dollars yesterday by betting on the Giants in a good size football pool.  I considered doing but I let the time slip away from me and that is a bummer today let me tell you.

I wish I had.  I thought of doing it but was of two minds because although I was rooting for the Giants all along, if I'd put my money down, it would've been for the Pats - and I'd be crying today for my loss.  I've being VERY HAPPY since last night, for the Giants.

Your friend got quite lucky there! I didn't even bet, isn't that sad? Sometimes I don't even make money bets, but bet for silly things. Once we had someone lose a super bowl bet and he had to wear a dress to work for a week, thinking back its a good thing our boss was in on the bet!

That's alright, I did not bet either. I just don't know much about sports and I am pretty sure that I would have bet on a bad score. The poll that he was in on was one where you guess the final number in each team's score.

I did not win money, however I did bet my friend who would win. And happy to say, my friend is now going to mow my yard for the rest of the year.

I would absolutely love to not have to mow my lawn for a while, that's great. I love to bet household chores with people, sometimes that can be just as good if not better than earning cash.
