“It's similar to the lottery. When you drive by the sign that says the payout is 100,000 million, it makes people more likely to buy a ticket. Rising ticket sales boost the prize pot even higher. Just by saying their prizes are that high will be an incentive for many people to play.”

“This doesn't make a lot of sense to me. You could be great at pool, win the seat at the poker tournament...but blow at poker. I can understand poker sites sponsoring a promotion like this but not a pool site. Maybe it's just me.”
