“I think its great he wants to continue where he is and not just go wherever the money is. I really hope the club comes through with a good offer to keep him there where he wants to be.”

“Its definitely a dangerous sport, all sports are to some degree. Its good to hear the team is rallying without them so they can still have something to come back to when they heal up.”

“I think this would be the perfect opportunity for the Kiwis to show just how much respect they deserve. Lots of teams get overlooked or singled out to be the underdog. I'm sure they'll show them the error of their ways.”

“Perhaps they need to decide air time like the US elections where both sides are required to have equal air time? I think the idea of paying them for actually being on TV is a good one, rather than just paying them because they are in the league and will happen to end up on TV a time or two. They do need to distribute the wealth better to even out the playing field a bit more, literally and figuratively.”

“Its truly sad to see such a young player end before they really had the chance to make a name for themselves. By all accounts he had far to go and had just really got started. There is so much tragedy in sports and not always at the player's fault. He will be sadly missed.”

“Apparently someone forgot to tell Finland taxing gambling is the greatest idea since taxes in general. I thought France was trying to change their laws too but I suppose they are opposite right now. I wonder what other things aren't as strict in Finland?”

“I think they could make a good go at this especially if some of the current casinos help back it with the idea of moving towards online gambling sites run out of the US. There's plenty of money in gambling and the government needs to stop interfering.”

“ I definitely thin making everyone pay in a minimum is a good idea. Otherwise some places will just take advantage. Its really sad that all gambling establishments can't be responsible to help out people with gambling problems.”

“I dunno, six to eight months jail time is not too harsh, as they could get out on appeals and such. Not sure how Swedish jails work, but in the US they would probably serve 1/4-1/3 and be done. I do think its important to be firm with such things though.”

“Thats a really great prize and a great way to support such a great cause. I think its great they are awarding spending cash as well. So many of these prizes send you somewhere expensive for free where you could never afford to go for a reason, lol.”

“wow, what a setup. A rather large gap in the top three and the bottom three in terms of chip counts. I'm rather hoping David Chiu wins myself, but it would seem he needs to do some maneuvering before that happens.”

“I agree, there is a hopeless war in the middle east, gas prices are approaching or at $4/gal and people can't afford rent and food and the government is concerned with fighting online gambling? How bout they take that money and split it up amongst the nations people to make a real "refund" instead of the garbage they've come up with already.”
