“I'm not sure how well gambling ads work these days. Most people probably pick their gambling site based on ads on a gambling blog or news site or on the side of their e-mail program, not what they saw on TV. Sounds like they are delivering should people get there though.”

“I can't say I blame them. I watched some news coverage the other night and they seem to be recommending everyone who doesn't need to be there leave. Certainly not a venue for sports, not to mention one that would be ill attended if they did play.”

“I'm not sure what laws there are that pertain to such things, but I think after spending 17 hours and who knows how much money playing poker they could have very well comped a room for him to take a shower in as opposed to kicking him out. It borders on the picking on the fat kid in dodgeball tactics for my tastes.”

“I really doubt a distribution charge would stick as in effect he was so doped he couldn't think straight-clearly. Which means he wouldn't have the brain power to distribute, and he clearly only wanted to bet with it like money not encourage the dealer to smoke it (at least not right there maybe). “I imagine its something like the video game versions where there's a dealer animated in that shuffles, deals, etc instead of the cards just showing up out of nowhere on the screen. More of a real time play. I think its great to make it more realistic than it can be now.”

“I don't see how reimbursing someone is the same as offering a trip, but maybe I'm just reading it wrong. Surely they don't think thats a real big draw. It could take ages to get your cash back and the fun part about winning these trips is they are often first class not economy.”

“I'm not sure I'm excited about this at all as a player. As a geek its really interesting, but if they make better poker computers then they can make it harder to play online games against the site. Gambling already assumes the house always wins, making it even mroe in their favor doesn't sound like fun to me.”

“I think the dealio i that she let someone play for her (player B) and they came to a draw with the player they played against (player C) therefore making a payout to her null and void (player A) because she breached the TOS by letting someone else use her account and play for her.
