Betfair lands Sports Betting Operator of the Year 2009

Betfair had a fantastic night at the EGR Gaming Awards last night by taking home the respected Sports Betting Operator of the Year Award 2009. The bookmakers were victorious in a tough category fending off competition from Ladbrokes, Paddy Power and William Hill.
The judges revealed Betfair stood out among its competitors because of its ‘innovation, excellence, breadth of numbers and education to customers.’
Betfair marketing and brand director Oscar Nieboer said: “This is a good year for us, with sponsorships of Man Utd, FC Barcelona and TalkSport; it's nice to be here and we look forward to next year“.
