Former Spice Girl made bookies favourite for X-Factor role

Bookmaker William Hill has confirmed that former Spice Girl Mel B is the favourite to take over as a judge on the next series of the X-Factor. The much-talked about show, which came to a climax on Sunday night when 18-year-old Joe McElderry was crowned champion, looks set for a face-lift next year with rumours abounding of a change in the judging panel.
 
William Hill has the former Spice Girl at 5/1 shot to join Simon Cowell on the panel in 2010.
