Mayfair set to host inaugural London Open

 An exclusive poker tournament set to be hosted at Les Ambassadeurs Club in Mayfair, London was yesterday announced as the inaugural London Open.

The event, which has been dubbed ‘Les A London’ will take place over two days on February 23 and 24 February 2010 and will include a small but select group of 50 players battling it out for an estimated prize pool of £100,000.

Professional players, celebrities and a handful of fortunate online qualifiers will be included amongst the competitors. MansionPoker will run poker satellites to qualify for this most prestigious event in the poker calendar from early December. Each poker package is worth £3500 plus membership to the exclusive Les A club valued at £1000.


The package includes:

  • £2,000 + £200 buy-in to the Les A event on 23 & 24 February 2010.
  • £800 for 3 night’s accommodation (including breakfast and buffet dinner) at the Hilton Park Lane Hotel, 22 - 25 February 2010.
  • Package winners will enjoy a free Les A membership for one year worth £1,000 (photo ID required).
  • £30 for registration fees.
  • £470 for flights and spending (depending on currency exchange rates).

Direct buy in to the poker tournament is available to MansionPoker players for £3500 for the full package or £2200 for just the poker tournament (no hotel/flight expenses etc).
