Cheryl Cole named "Lady Luck"

Girls Aloud singer and X Factor judge Cheryl Cole is the new face of "Lady Luck" according to a new survey conducted by online bingo site Gala Bingo.  The leading bingo website pays out more than £65 million a month and when users were asked what “Lady Luck” would look like, the majority of users named Ashley Cole’s wife as the answer.

Daytime TV presenter Holly Willoughby was in second place while singing sensation Susan Boyle was in third with Alesha Dixon and Stacey Solomon in fourth and fifth respectively.

BBC 3 psychologist Felix Economakis added weight to the survey by claiming that luck is influenced by a positive mental attitude.  He said:

“Undoubtedly all of the top 10 have a really positive mental attitude, which is a key component to inviting luck into your life. Having a positive mind set will enable you to keep an open mind, grab any opportunities should they arise and keep you looking on the bright side when bad things do happen.

“Therefore by adopting a positive approach we can all be luckier in 2010, regardless of our personal talents.”
