Avatar favourites for Oscar glory

The 2010 Oscars Nominations may not be announced yet, by James Cameron’s CGI epic ‘Avatar’ is already the strong front runner thanks to his Golden Globe triumph.
Bet365 have the Titanic director at just 8/15 to scoop the coveted Best Picture Oscar, ironically just ahead of his ex-wife, Kathryn Bigelow, with ‘The Hurt Locker’.
The same two films and their respective directors are battling it out for the Best Director award, with Cameron the narrower favourite at 5/6.
The Best Actor award is currently being led by veteran star Jeff Bridges for his turn in ‘Crazy Heart’, for which he has already scooped the Golden Globe award. Bridges is ahead of George Clooney (Up in the Air) at 4/11 and 5/2 respectively.
