Q: How Does An Online Casino Work?
How do online casinos work. Do they have to some permit, or can they write the software and then put it online. Basically I’m trying to understand what’s need to put an online casino together?
It’s a bit difficult to answer this question. The elements that you would need to have to start an online casino would seem to include, trusted casino operating software, licencing, another cash to fund payouts and a unique selling point…why would anyone look to choose your online casino amongst all the other established brands that are out there?
Q: In the UK there are a number of ways in which to become a dealer or croupier. Many of the 144 UK casinos offer training, plus there are online courses, distance learning and other options. Blackjack would tend to be tought as one of a range of skills.
Can anyone help me on whether it is easier using a strategy to make money from roulette or blackjack at the casino.
The house edge I believe is lower in Blackjack than in Roulette. There is a system for making money at Roulette, the Martingale, but house rules and a potential pot of unlimited cash makes it diificult to put into practive. Check out Wikipedia’s entry on the Martingale for further information.
Q: What is the greatest amount of money lost in a casino?
Interested to know peoples stories. If you’ve won, be good to hear, but most interested in those who lost and not realised that the odds are against them.
Strangely enough it’s not easy to come across the details of what the most money ever lost was. There have been legendary gamblers though such as Kerry Packer, Lord Lucan, Khasshogi etc who have had millions on the roll of a dice or spin of a roulette wheel. This correspondent has lost $100s on American Roulette and Blackjack in Las Vegas, but doubt very much whether that’s anywhere near the record. If anyone knows what is the most lost in a single night’s gambling in a casino it would be good to find out.
Q: Do casinos throw winner players out who are using a strategy?
I mean any kind of strategy, card counting, roulette strategy or perhaps someone who’s playing a mathematical advantage or those who are just plain lucky.
Do they kicked out, banned, or nothing. Are there rules or laws about this.
It depends, have you never seen ‘21′? Your question here is rather vague, does it relate to skill, such as you would have in Poker or Blackjack, or any sort of system? Many gambling rules are designed to make systems less effective, such as house limits which undermine the Martingale in roulette. Card counting is actively discouraged etc.
Different casinos have different ways of dealing with a winning streak, but from our experience if you are not using a banned system they will usually let you play the streak out. After all how else are they going to get their money back.
