Ecclestone - no more races at Magny-Cours
Formula One chief Bernie Ecclestone hopes to turn the French Grand Prix into a street race around the streets of Paris in the near future. The race has traditionally been held at Magny-Cours, but the circuit has suffered from weak attendances due to poor access and insufficient accommodation.

Lorenzo - I won't be fully fit in France
Moto GP star Jorge Lorenzo has vowed to race through the pain barrier at next weekend's French Grand Prix in Le Mans. The Spaniard injured both ankles during a dramatic crash during practice in China ten days ago, but the Spaniard raced on to claim fourth place.

Hamilton thrilled with second plae
Lewis Hamilton revealed he was delighted to be back on the podium after his second place finish at the Turkish Grand Prix. Hamilton started on the second row of the grid and revealed he was not expecting to figure so prominently having made three visits to the pits.

Lewis Hamilton profited from the tactic by securing second place, while Kovalainen had to settle for 12th after being forced into the pits early on due to a puncture.

More Turkish delight for Massa
Felipe Massa secured a hat-trick of victories at the Turkish Grand Prix as the Ferrari driver beat Lewis Hamilton into second place in Istanbul.The British driver's three-stop strategy helped him pass Massa for the lead at the half-way stage, but he couldn't build enough of an advantage to beat the Brazilian after his additional stop.

Raikkonen still upbeat
Kimi Raikkonen refused to be downbeat ahead of Sunday's Turkish Grand Prix, despite only managing to secure fourth place in qualifying. The world champion, who sits nine points clear of Lewis Hamilton in the drivers' standings, failed to match the pace of team-mate Felipe Massa and will now also line up behind the two McLaren's.

Kovalainen thrilled with return
Heikki Kovalainen bounced back from his traumatic 150mph crash in Barcelona a fortnight ago to produce a stunning performance in qualifying and clinch second place on the grid for the Turkish Grand Prix. The McLaren driver, who will start just ahead of team-mate Lewis Hamilton, says he is delighted to be back after recovering from his injuries.

Hamilton: I made a mistake
Lewis Hamilton admits he made a mistake by deciding to use harder tyres during qualifying for the Turkish Grand Prix. The McLaren driver, who will start from third on the grid, took the option of using the prime tyres instead of the softer variety which were favoured by his rivals and was left to rue his decision.

Felipe Massa insists he will not be allowing any room for complacency when he goes in search of a third consecutive victory at the Turkish Grand Prix. The Brazilian, who claimed pole for the third year running with a lap time of 1:27.617secs, will start ahead of McLaren duo Heikki Kovalainen and Lewis Hamilton.
