Lebron James and Delonte West scored 21 points apiece as the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Boston Celtics in game three of their best of seven series. Joe Smith also chipped in with 17 points to complete a 108-84 victory over the travel sick Celtics, who lead the series 2-1.

Carlos Boozer called the tune as the Utah Jazzproduced an impressive 104-99 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers. Boozer, who scored 27 points to equal his career play-off high, also had 20 rebounds as the Utah clawed their way back to trail 2-1 in the Western Conference semi-finals.

Pierce shoots Celtics to victory
Paul Pierce scored 19 points to give the Boston Celtics an 89-73 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers and a 2-0 series lead in the Eastern Conference semi-finals. Bryant named NBA's MVP
Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard Kobe Bryant has been named as the NBA's Most Valuable Player after leading his side to the best record in the Western Conference. Bryant has long been regarded as one of the best players in the NBA, but has never won the MVP award.
