Woods: I'm not taking a European Tour Card
Tiger Woods has revealed he will not be taking a European Tour card ahead of the launch of the £5m Dubai World Championships. The world number one would only be able to compete in the recently announced event, which begins in 2009, if he became a member of the European Tour, which would require him to commit to competing in eleven counting events.

Montgomerie: European Tour isn't European any more
Colin Montgomerie has called for the European Tour to be renamed The International Tour to reflect the fact that a number of the Tour's high profile events are now played outside the continent that bears its' name. Montgomerie, who has won eight Order of Merit Titles, launched his attack from Singapore, where he is conducting coaching clinics.
