Els takes the lead in Dubai
South Africa's Ernie Els finished the Third Round of the Dubai Desert Classic one shot ahead of the field after carding a splendid 65. The world number five, who started the day four shots behind previous leader Tiger Woods, came home one shot clear of Sweden's Henrik Stenson, while Woods endured a nightmare day, finishing on seven-under.

Woods in command in Dubai
World Number No.1 Tiger Woods continued his commanding form by hitting a seven-under par 65 in the first round of the Dubai Desert Classic. Woods birdied the opening hole and added six more to place him two ahead of Pelle Edberg and Miguel Angel Jimenez, who shot a hole in one at the seventh.
