Glover on top after round two of Verizon Heritage
Lucas Glover shot a second straight 66 to move into a slender lead after the second round of the Verizon Heritage tournament in his native South Carolina. The 28-year-old lies on 10 under-par and leads by just one stroke from defending champion Boo Weekley, who shot a near-faultless 64 - the joint-lowest round of the day.

Rose wilts in Carolina
Justin Rose's decline in form since the first round of The Masters continued as he ended the first day of the Verizon Heritage in South Carolina on five-over par 76. That was in direct contrast to his fellow Brit, Nick Dougherty, who shot a fine 67 to share second place overnight.
