Rose clinches European Order of Merit crown
Justin Rose has claimed the 2007 European Order of Merit title after winning the Volvo Masters in Valderamma. Rose was in a two-way battle with Irishman Padraig Harrington in the race to overtake Ernie Els, and with Harrington only able to finish joint-fourth Rose's play-off victory was enough to secure his first Order of Merit crown.

Rose hits hole-in-one to stay in touch
Justin Rose hit a hole-in-one as he stayed in contention with a round of 70 at the Volvo Masters in Valderrama. Englishman Rose is in with a chance of overtaking Ernie Els to win the European Tour Order of Merit and his round was one better than playing partner Padraig Harrington, who is just ahead in the race to better Els' total of £1,740,851.
