Atwal wins in Malaysia
Arjun Atwal of India has won the Maybank Malaysian Open Title after beating Peter Hedblom in a sudden-death play-off after both players finished on 18 under par. Atwal took the title for a second time after his Swedish opponent three-putted at the second extra hole.

Dougherty leads Malaysian Open after day two
Nick Dougherty remains in first place, albeit tied, after a storm-interrupted second day of the Malaysian Open at the Kota Permai Golf Club in Kuala Lumpar. Dougherty started the day at 10-under par, three shots ahead of fellow countryman Simon Dyson and Australian Marcus Fraser, but was unable to eclipse yesterday's impressive round of 62.
