Henin finishes year as No1
Justine Henin will finish the year as No1 in women's tennis, and even before the Sony Ericsson Championship - the last tournament of the season - has been played. The Belgian has won nine titles this year, including two Grand Slam titles. A victory in the Madrid tournament will cap off a superb end-of-year for Henin.

Murray destroys Chela in Madrid
Andy Murray has delivered a statement of intent with a superb performance by brushing aside Juan Ignacio Chela 6-1 6-3 in the second round of the Madrid Masters. Murray has suffered with a wrist injury throughout 2007, but the British number one looked back to his best as he destroyed his Argentine opponent within an hour.

Knowles to partner Murray
Jamie Murray will be partnered by Mark Knowles for the men's doubles at the forthcoming Madrid Masters. Knowles, 36, has won 46 titles throughout his career and will replace American Eric Butorac.
