League Two round-up: Holt helps Shrewsbury to the summit
Grant Holt fired home a 79th minute winner to give Shrewsbury their third straight league win of the season after a 1-0 victory over Aldershot. The former Rochdale and Nottingham Forest man, who made the switch to the New Meadow for a club record fee of £130,00, handed the visitors their first league defeat since returning to league football.

Dagenham and Redbridge remain top of League Two after coming from behind to beat Lincoln City 3-1. Lenell John-Lewis opened the scoring for City after 18 minutes but a second half brace from Ben Strevens and a last minute goal from Paul Benson were enough for The Daggers to hold on to top spot.

Bournemouth hit by points blow
Bournemouth will start life in League Two with alongside Rotherham after being handed a 17-point deduction. The South Coast club, who were relegated from League One last season, have until midday on Friday to accept a deal from the Football League after failing to satisfy the league's insolvency rules for exiting administration.

Luton hit by massive 30 point penalty
Luton Town will begin life in League Two with a 30 point deduction after being handed a hefty penalty by the Football League. The Hatters, who were already set to start the new season with a ten-point penalty after breaching Football Association regulations over agents fees, have now been punished after applying to come out of administration.

Tisdale hails Exeter heroes
