Ekramy moves to Turkish club Ankaragücü on loan
Feyenoord have reached a loan agreement with Ankaragücü that will see Sherif Ekramy move to Turkey. The 25-year-old reserve goalkeeper had been with Feyenoord since 2005 but he has only featured in seven top flight matches since.

Danish striker Perez leaves Ajax
Kenneth Perez, the 33-year-old Danish striker, has left Dutch Eredivisie club Ajax Amsterdam by mutual consent. Perez, who has won 24 caps for his country, had been contracted to the club until July 2009, however the deal was terminated after he had been relegated to the reserves by coach Marco van Basten.

Hamilton keeping focused
Lewis Hamilton insists he is firmly focused on winning the Formula One title and says he won't be taking any risks on the way to achieving his goal. The McLaren driver, who lost out on the title on the final day of last season, is currently six points clear of Ferrari's Felipe Massa and is determined to finish the season on top.

Hamilton: I'll take points over victories
Lewis Hamilton will happily give up winning races if it means he realizes his dream of claiming the Formula One drivers championship. Hamilton finished second behind Felipe Massa in the European GP in Valencia on Sunday and believes the steady accumulation of points is more important than being first past the chequered flag in individual races.

PSV complete Stefan Nijland
PSV have completed the €4m signing of striker Stefan Nijland from FC Groningen. The 20-year-old has agreed a five-year deal with the Dutch champions after scoring four goals in 23 appearances.

Van Wonderen joins FC Twente technical staff
Former Dutch international defender Kees van Wonderen has been named as Steve McClaren's assistant at Evedivisie side, FC Twente. For the past year-and-a-half the 39-year-old, who won five caps for the Oranje and played for NEC, NAC Breda and Feyenoord, has been assistant coach at amateur club VV Bennekom.

FC Groningen look set to lose striker Stefan Nijland to Eredivisie rivals PSV Eindhoven. The club announced on their website that a club had made an official approach to sign their 20-year-old.

Johnson set to swap Heerenveen for MLS club
Young Canadian striker Will Johnson looks set to move from Dutch side sc Heerenveen to America's Major Soccer League. The 21-year-old, who was signed two years ago from Chicago Fire, was on loan at another Dutch side, De Graafschap, last season. He scored two goals in 25 appearances.
