Bolton's Cahill happy to get off mark, but happier at win
Central defender Gary Cahill was delighted that he netted his first goal for Bolton Wanderers against West Ham on Sunday, following his £5m move from Aston Villa. Poland's hosting of Euro 2012 in jeopardy
Poland have lost the right to co-host the 2012 European Championships with Ukraine after missing a Fifa imposed deadline on Monday. They now risk suspension from all competitions. The game's governing body had demanded the country reinstate their Football Association after it was suspended by Poland's government and replaced by an administrator.

Carson is confident he can success for England - Clemence
Scott Carson now deserves another chance to become England No1, according to Ray Clemence, the former national goalkeeping coach. Former Plymouth 'keeper jailed for death by dangerous driving
Luke McCormick, the former Plymouth Argyle goalkeeper, has been jailed for seven years and four months after pleading guilty to killing two young boys in a motorway crash while he was twice over the drink drive limit. He was sentenced by Judge Paul Glenn at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court.
