Koumas saves Wales at the death
Jason Koumas scored a controversial late penalty to help Wales earn a 2-2 draw against the Republic of Ireland in Cardiff. Koumas' first-half header had given the home side an early lead, but goals from Robbie Keane and Kevin Doyle looked to have given Ireland a deserved victory.

Toshack considering his position
Wales coach John Toshack has admitted he is considering his position after watching his side slump to a 3-1 defeat in Cyprus that left them unable to qualify for Euro 2008. Toshack has been in charge of the national team since November 2004, but the 58-year-old was furious with what he described as 'a debacle' in Nicosia.
